Chemical Spill Response Plan (CSRP)
Chemical Spill Response Plan (CSRP) development focuses on managing accidental chemical releases and limiting their effects on personnel, facilities and the environment. Chemical properties, inventories and potential release scenarios are reviewed to determine appropriate response measures. The plan establishes emergency organisation, responsibilities and coordination with external support agencies. Response procedures address notification, area isolation, exposure control and spill containment. Requirements for protective equipment, recovery, decontamination and waste disposal are defined according to the chemicals involved. Training and drills support the safe implementation of response procedures and evaluation of preparedness. The completed CSRP documents project-specific arrangements to support effective emergency response and applicable regulatory submissions.
